Somebody has to be the FIRST…

This weekend, I saw such an incredible movie (based on a true story) that left me inspired and ready to accomplish anything… especially if it has never been done before. In the movie, three amazing world changing women Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson ( Janelle Monáe) were the some of the greatest foundation instruments in launching astronaut John Glenn ( Glen Powell) into space. This changed the way NASA viewed African-American women, while breaking race and gender barriers for African-Americans and women of all races.

So they say it’s never been done before?

Whenever it seems too hard for you… Ask yourself the question, is there anything too hard for God?

I may not want to be a rocket scientist or an engineer for that matter… but I do want to do some great things!!!

Barriers are sometimes set by society or by the community.

Maybe you’ve never met an author before…  but you could be the first in your family.

Maybe no one in your family has graduated college before… you could be the new era of change.

Maybe what you’re considering has never been seen before in this world…  you just could be the first.

Whatever you want to do… Whatever you put you mind to do. It’s possible.

These points of limits that many of us set for each other have got to go.

No more restrictions

No more limits

If you can get your MIND beyond what society thinks or says… beyond what your family thinks or says… beyond what social media thinks or says… you would be UNSTOPPABLE.

Let me share this story with you: Promise it will inspire you!

It’s called the Frog Story

There was once a bunch of tiny frogs, who arranged a running competition. The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower. A big crowd gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants.

The race began…

No one in the crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower. They shouted, “Oh, way too difficult!!! They will NEVER make it to the top” and “Not a chance. The tower is too high”.

The tiny frogs began collapsing, one by one except for those who, in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher….

The crowd continued to yell, “It’s too difficult! No one will make it!”

More tiny frogs got tired and gave up… But one continued higher and higher. This one wouldn’t give up! And he reached the top.

Everyone wanted to know how this one frog managed such a great feat.

His secret? This little frog was deaf!!

The wisdom of this story is:

Ignore the pessimism of others. It can take your dreams from you. Stay positive.

-Author Unknown

And the moral of the story is… Those who love negativity, have a tendency to see the worst aspect in life, believe in the worst, lack hope or belief, have no confidence in the best outcome… Those who are pessimism…

Do not belong in your DREAM LIFE.

Some people are still in recovery from when their parents told them they will never accomplish anything.

Others are still in recovery from when their peers told them they would never do anything great.

The saddest DREAM to me is the DREAM that was aborted… only because someone decided to believe in something that was not true.

Despite what you were told or what happened in your life… The bottom line is you can do all things.

“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”- Matthew 19:26

And if God said you can do… THERE ARE NO LIMITS.

In this movie, I also loved the fact that the ladies, who were friends encouraged each other. Get around some people that are going to encourage you! Even if you don’t have anyone in your life right now to encourage you. It’s time to find NEW PEOPLE. They are out there.

Today I encourage others and myself to take the limits off!!!

Career wise… I’ve had a few doors shut but that doesn’t stop me from SEEING that greater is coming. I’ve also had a few new AMAZING opportunities offered to me. (Some which I am still in prayer about because I want to make the best decision).

Find out what you’re passionate about… And be passionate with NO LIMITS.

Discovery what you like to do in life… And do it with NO LIMITS.

2 Corinthians 10:17 reads, “But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

Boast about what God is doing in your life!!! The glory belongs to Him.

For the word also says, “Neither do we go beyond our limits by boasting of work done by others. Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow, our sphere of activity among you will greatly expand,” – 2 Corinthians 10:15

When God lives in you… you have the power of God and the connection to limitless.

Even if it LOOKS impossible…

Even if it LOOKS like your out of time…

Even if it LOOKS like it can’t be done…

The word of God talks about a lady named Sarah, who was old and out of child bearing age but was granted the desires of her heart.  A child. People talked about her and just knew it was impossible for her to have a child. They just knew… that what she desired would not happen. But my favorite question that was asked to her was….

Is anything too hard for the LORD? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”- Genesis 18:14

So whatever your dream or your desire is in life… GOD will give them to you!

“Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”- Psalm 37:4

Remember to take great pleasure in the LORD… And You will always come out on TOP.

***God is the HIDDEN FIGURE that lives in you!!!***

Breaking barriers…

Changing the world…

Taking the limits off…

Until next time… everyone have a great day! The question is, what are you going to do that’s never been done before?

Whenever it seems too hard for you… Ask the question, is there anything too hard for God?
